Description kenneth_porter 2000-11-07 14:10:11 UTC
Using 8.2.2_P5-25. named creates its pid file as root. Later, when issuing reload from ndc or initscript, a message is logged that named can't
write to /var/run/named.pid.

One possible solution would be to give the sticky bit to /var/run and to create the pid file with ownership named.named.
