Description Steve Traylen 2022-01-31 15:01:10 UTC
Pleaes build python-genshi for EPEL 9.

I have confirmed that the current rawhide package

python3-genshi-0.7.5-7

does both build and install in a centos-stream-9-x86_64 mock

Many thanks.

Steve.

Will you be able to branch and build python-genshi in epel9?
The EPEL Packagers SIG would be happy to be a co-maintainer
if you do not wish to build it on epel9, and so do I (FAS: salimma)

per https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/epel/epel-package-request/#epel_packagers_sig_members:

- please add epel-packagers-sig in https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/python-genshi/addgroup
- please add salimma in https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/python-genshi/adduser

Comment 2 Felix Schwarz 2022-05-29 11:52:42 UTC
I can do that, Genshi isn't a big maintenance burden (few updates, mostly related to support a new Python version). However I always like co-maintainers. Should I add you or epel-packagers-sig? Or both?
