Description Fabio Bertinatto 2022-02-03 12:44:14 UTC
+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #2050173 +++

We haven't merged any upstream releases since v1.2.0. Our fork is on v1.5.1.

There has been many bugfixes since v1.2.0 and it'd be highly beneficial for us to merge them into our fork.

--- Additional comment from Fabio Bertinatto on 2022-02-03 12:26:44 UTC ---

Correction: Our fork is not on v1.5.1, that's the latest upstream release. Our 4.10 fork is on v1.2.0.

Comment 3 Yaakov Selkowitz 2022-02-07 16:26:56 UTC
This PR broke aws-ebs-csi-driver on arm64, e.g.:

The reason being the makefile now defined ARCH?=amd64 by default, meaning the ARM build ends up with an x86 binary which won't run.

Furthermore, this is a major change to be landing after code freeze. Did this get an exception?

Comment 4 Yaakov Selkowitz 2022-02-07 16:29:32 UTC
Marking as 4.10 Blocker to either fix or revert prior to GA, as the current state has broken ARM.

Comment 8 aleskandro 2022-02-08 12:30:25 UTC
Verified for 4.10.0-0.nightly-arm64-2022-02-08-061700.
