This is questionable, as in my case, "evince" got installed without any problem. On the other hand, many of the components that I had chosen, in particular the "OpenOffice" ones, had simply been "forgotten" during the install.
Perhaps you got updated images. IMHO this bug can be closed by now.

With RHEL5-Client-20060830.1-i386-DVD.iso the problem is still present. Is there an updated version?
