Description Troy Dawson 2022-02-08 18:08:29 UTC
Please branch and build kdsoap in epel9.

If you do not wish to maintain kdsoap in epel9,
or do not think you will be able to do this in a timely manner,
I would be happy to be a co-maintainer of the package. (FES: tdawson)
Since this is a kde package, it would also be good to set kde-sig as a co-maintainer as well.
Please add me through https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/kdsoap/adduser

Comment 1 Troy Dawson 2022-02-08 18:10:18 UTC
Currently kdsoap BuildRequires /usr/bin/qhelpgenerator, which is from qt-devel. That is qt4 based.
That requirement can be dropped in favor of qt5-qhelpgenerator and the package still builds fine in both rawhide and epel9.

Hi Troy,

I added you as collaborator. I have no experience with epel, so I suggest you take care of that branch.

For the qhelpgenerator, I suggest you open a pull request to the package repo. It seems the qt4 dependency is a mistake.

Casper
