Please branch and build uClibc in epel8 and epel9. If you do not wish to maintain uClibc in epel8 and epel9, or do not think you will be able to do this in a timely manner, the EPEL Packagers SIG would be happy to be a co-maintainer of the package; please add the epel-packagers-sig group through https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/uClibc/addgroup and grant it commit access, or collaborator access on epel* branches.

Ok, I've requested the branches. But my question is, what do you need uClibc for?
Thanks! I need it to be able to build busybox (see https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2052738)

(In reply to Davide Cavalca from comment #3) > Thanks! I need it to be able to build busybox (see > https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2052738) Fair enough. The thing is, uClibc has been long dead upstream, so obviously there haven't been any new releases or fixes for a long time. There is uClibc-ng, an actively developed fork, however busybox maintainer wasn't happy with switching to it, but perhaps it's time to finally do it.
