Doc Type: Bug Fix
Doc Text:
There is currently a known issue. In the developer perspective, the *Observe* dashboard opens for the most recently viewed workload rather than the one you selected in the *Topology*. This issue happens because the session prefers the redux store instead of the query parameters in the URL. (link:https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2052953[BZ#2052953])

screencast of the problem

Description of problem:
The view dashboard link in topology -> observe tab of a workload doesn't open the correct workload. It seems to always open what it considers last viewed.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
4.10

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create at least 2 workloads
2. Open the first workload in topology, go to Observe tab
3. Click on 'View dashboard'
4. The correct workload opens
5. Go back to topology
6. Select the second workload
7. Click on 'View dashboard' in Observe tab

Actual results:
The first workload is open in observe dashboard

Expected results:
The second workload should be open

Could reproduce this also on 4.9. Didn't test older versions.

Comment 4 Vikram Raj 2022-03-11 08:56:40 UTC
Verified it on 4.11.0-0.nightly-2022-03-09-235248. Works as expected.
