Description Vladimír Sedmík 2022-02-17 09:22:14 UTC
Description of problem:
In disconnected Satellite we set CDN Configuration > Upstream Foreman server, where we provide details like server URL, User, Organization, LCE, CV and SSL CA CC. When we provide wrong (non-existing) User or Organization, we get an error. This does not happen for the LCE and CV.

It would be nice to have also some check for presence of the provided LCE and CV in the upstream Satellite and show a warning if they are missing. This could save user some struggle when trying to enable repos later.

Comment 3 Bryan Kearney 2022-03-02 00:05:40 UTC
Moving this bug to POST for triage into Satellite since the upstream issue https://projects.theforeman.org/issues/34519 has been resolved.

Comment 7 Vladimír Sedmík 2022-04-26 11:58:13 UTC
The issue is still reproducible, it seems the fix was not cherry picked in 6.11 snap 17.

Comment 8 Vladimír Sedmík 2022-04-28 13:09:27 UTC
Verified in 6.11.0 snap 18 - LCE and CV checks were added and work as expected.

Thank you for the implementation!
