Proposed as a Blocker for 36-final by Fedora user chrismurphy using the blocker tracking app because: All elements of the default panel (or equivalent) configuration in all release-blocking desktops must function correctly in typical use. https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_36_Final_Release_Criteria#Default_panel_functionality
The problem affects both F35->F36 via dnf system-upgrade, and clean install (of root) preserving /home, and a newly created user.
FEDORA-2022-62ea707376 has been submitted as an update to Fedora 36. https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2022-62ea707376
I think the 42~beta mega-update should fix this, specifically gnome-bluetooth-42~beta.2-1.fc36 (the fixes linked in the upstream issue were in that release by the looks of it). So I tagged that update as fixing this. Chris, can you confirm? Thanks.
This is fixed with gnome-bluetooth-42~beta.2-1.fc36.x86_64, et al. I just removed a headset in the list without difficulty.
