Red Hat Satellite engineering is moving the tracking of its product development work on Satellite to Red Hat Jira (issues.redhat.com). If you're a Red Hat customer, please continue to file support cases via the Red Hat customer portal. If you're not, please head to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira and file new tickets here. Individual Bugzilla bugs will be migrated starting at the end of May. If you cannot log in to RH Jira, please consult article #7032570. That failing, please send an e-mail to the RH Jira admins at rh-issues@redhat.com to troubleshoot your issue as a user management inquiry. The email creates a ServiceNow ticket with Red Hat. Individual Bugzilla bugs that are migrated will be moved to status "CLOSED", resolution "MIGRATED", and set with "MigratedToJIRA" in "Keywords". The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/SAT-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

Samir,

Is this expected behavior according to UXD design?

Comment 2 Samir Jha 2022-02-21 16:04:35 UTC
Add repository and all action buttons on CV UI pages except the Publish (Blue) are secondary buttons(White/grey) as per UXD.

Comment 3 Griffin Sullivan 2022-02-21 19:42:16 UTC
I think this is a change that should be considered. In the old content view UI, when the user creates a new CV they are taken to the Repositories page. The Add Repositories button would turn blue once repos were selected. However in the new UI, the user is taken to the Versions page on create. Then once they navigate to Repositories and select some repos, the button is white with blue accents. This is a small change, but I think it makes the UX worse for the average use case where we just want to create a cv, add repos, and publish. I think at least making the Add Repository button blue with white accents like before would make it much easier to find on the page for new 7.0 users.

Created redmine issue https://projects.theforeman.org/issues/34494 from this bug

Comment 6 Bryan Kearney 2022-02-28 16:05:46 UTC
Moving this bug to POST for triage into Satellite since the upstream issue https://projects.theforeman.org/issues/34494 has been resolved.
