I get this sometimes when starting opendkim: systemd: opendkim.service: Can't open PID file /var/run/opendkim/opendkim.pid (yet?) after start: No such file or directory The easiest fix is to add ExecStartPost=/bin/sleep 1 to the [Service] section of the opendkim.service systemd unit file.

In upstream I've proposed PRs that use Type=simple and no PIDFile line, and use the -f option so the apps don't fork. This eliminates the race cleanly. I'll use this pattern in the Fedora packages in future releases but won't bother with rebuilds just for this now.
