Description of problem: Traditional (non-SCA) entitlements and subscription management will be deprecated starting in 7.0 and possibly removed in 7.1. For 7.0 GA, Need to update all subscription-related UI pages with deprecation warning banners. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Expected results: Deprecation warning banners in the following locations: Content hosts > (hostname) > Subscriptions tab Activation Keys > (activation key) > Subscriptions tab Subscriptions main page Additional info:
We would like to have the warning banner to point customers to the SCA master article: https://access.redhat.com/articles/simple-content-access
Created redmine issue https://projects.theforeman.org/issues/34522 from this bug
Upstream bug assigned to jlenz
'This organization is not using Simple Content Access. Legacy subscription management is deprecated and will be removed in a future version.' This is the current wording ("Simple Content Access" links to the doc suggested by Ashish.) You can also see screenshots in the upstream pull request https://github.com/Katello/katello/pull/9981. Please let me know if anyone has any objections / feedback on the wording. If I don't hear anything, I'll go with it.
