RHEL Engineering is moving the tracking of its product development work on RHEL 6 through RHEL 9 to Red Hat Jira (issues.redhat.com). If you're a Red Hat customer, please continue to file support cases via the Red Hat customer portal. If you're not, please head to the "RHEL project" in Red Hat Jira and file new tickets here. Individual Bugzilla bugs in the statuses "NEW", "ASSIGNED", and "POST" are being migrated throughout September 2023. Bugs of Red Hat partners with an assigned Engineering Partner Manager (EPM) are migrated in late September as per pre-agreed dates. Bugs against components "kernel", "kernel-rt", and "kpatch" are only migrated if still in "NEW" or "ASSIGNED". If you cannot log in to RH Jira, please consult article #7032570. That failing, please send an e-mail to the RH Jira admins at rh-issues@redhat.com to troubleshoot your issue as a user management inquiry. The email creates a ServiceNow ticket with Red Hat. Individual Bugzilla bugs that are migrated will be moved to status "CLOSED", resolution "MIGRATED", and set with "MigratedToJIRA" in "Keywords". The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "RHEL project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/RHEL-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

Description Ivan Devat 2022-02-28 10:17:41 UTC
Currently, notification disappears after while and a user is not able to see it again. To fix it, implement the notification drawer where the user can see disappeared notifications.

DevTestResults:

[root@r92-1 ~]# rpm -q pcs
pcs-0.11.3-5.el9.x86_64

There is a bell button in the upper right corner of the web ui. Button triggers notification sliding window to show up.
Try to stop/start cluster or nodes and check the notifications. Notifications could be marked as read or cleared.

[root@virt-594 ~]# rpm -q pcs
pcs-0.11.4-4.el9.x86_64

Only a basic check of this implemented feature has been performed. Our priority at the moment is to automate the tasks that are possible by using the GUI.
Our users can use a new "bell" button, which pops up a sliding window after clicking.
This button is located in the top navigation bar and is available at all times when the user is logged in.
When this button is clicked, the user is shown all "unread notification", which includes, for example:
successful node start, successful cluster start, successful resource delete, successful constraint removal, and many other notifications that are shown to the user while working with the GUI.

When working with a notification window, the user can mark all notifications of that window as already read, or alternatively, the user can clear all notifications from that window.
This sliding window works reliably, and all the buttons that are available work properly.

> Marking as VERIFIED SanityOnly for pcs-0.11.4-4.el9
