Description Nikhil Gupta 2022-03-02 06:45:20 UTC
Description of problem:
Changing the multiclusterhub name other than the default name keeps the version in the web console loading.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
ACM 2.4.1

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. while installing MultiClusterHub, change the name to clusterhub
2. After installation is completed, go the ACM console
3. Click 'About' and check for version

Actual results:
The version in the web console keeps on loading and it never shows a ACM version.

Expected results:
The ACM version should be visible.

Additional info:
- The ACM UI is looking for a MultiClusterHub named "multiclusterhub" therefore, the version keeps on spinning.

- The url is not looking up the correct resource when name is not default:
  https://multicloud-console.apps.acmtest.example.redhat.com/multicloud/common/version/

The fix is in build 2.4.5-SNAPSHOT-2022-05-18-19-25-42 or later.

Comment 4 Mark Anderson 2022-05-24 15:33:26 UTC
@nikhil.gupta.com Can you verify this fix so we can include it in the upcoming 2.4.5 release?

Comment 6 kurwang 2022-06-09 18:08:32 UTC
Verified in snapshot 2.4.5-DOWNSTREAM-2022-06-02-21-33-17 build
After installing mch using the name clusterhub instead of the default multiclusterhub, I see in the acm console the version is there
