Description of problem: I have a F36 vm installed in Japanese for testing. I wanted to refer to usermod(8) to remind me how to add a mock, but the Japanese translation seems very out of date (missing many options) so it was not useful. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): shadow-utils-4.11.1-2.fc36 Steps to Reproduce: 1. LANG=ja_JP.utf8 man usermod Actual results: No explanation of -a (and various other options) Expected results: Documentation for -a Additional info: I don't know how easy it is to get the translation updated. If it is not possible it might be better to remove the Japanese translation.
I guess the upstream version of this file isn't updated. Can you check https://github.com/shadow-maint/shadow/blob/master/man/ja/man8/usermod.8 to confirm?

Ludek can you manage to get an update for the Japaneses translation for the usermod man page?
This BZ has been evaluated and even though it is a valuable request, it isn't possible to provide a translation for the given man page. As a recommendation, we suggest: - Open an issue in the upstream repository, maybe there are others willing facing the same issue and, together, work on this request. - Search for updated information at Red Hat Customer Portal (if it is the case of a customer) Please feel free to reopen this request providing further information to support your position in case you have it. Thank you for understanding.
