Description Ingo Schaefer 2006-09-12 07:18:28 UTC
Description of problem:
When moving a mail from inbox to any other folder, the notify-sound is
triggered. This is very annoying.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
2.6.3

How reproducible:
always, if notification sound is enabled

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Enable notification sound (play sound file if new mail arrives)
2. Move mail from inbox to another folder

Actual results:
A notification sound is played.

Expected results:
Should only play notifications if receiving new mail via one of the enabled
accounts (so: POP3, IMAP, local mailbox)

Additional info:
I reported this bug for the fc4 version of evolution already, nobody cared :-(

Thanks for the bug report.

As of yesterday, Evolution 2.6 is no longer supported in Fedora Core 5.
Can you please try again with Evolution 2.8 in Fedora Core 6?

Comment 2 Ingo Schaefer 2006-10-26 09:13:10 UTC
The problem is there as well and as far as I can see, upstream developers are
targeting this in the next version.

But they have been targeting this in 2.5 as well.

Regards,
Ingo

Comment 3 Matthew Barnes 2007-10-05 05:08:10 UTC
Upstream bug indicates this has been fixed so I'm closing this as RAWHIDE.
