You need pyo3 v0.17 for matrix-synapse? I'll try to make that available soon. Are there any other Rust dependencies you need, or is the rest already covered by what's in Fedora (and up-to-date?)
I have a package that needs pyo3 v0.16.5 so if you gonna update it to 0.17 I can prepare a compat package for 0.16 in the meantime.
I need to prepare compat packages for 0.15 either way, so I can do compat packages for 0.16 at the same time. I think with 0.16 or 0.17 there are new pyo3 components / dependencies, so I would appreciate package reviews once I have filed them.

Let's hope nothing will require pyo3 0.18 for a while ... I don't want to go through this thing *again* :D
