Description of problem: Missing breadcrumb on the page header if navigating to create-resource page from: Home -> Search -> <ResourceName> -> Create and, Custom Resource Definition -> <ResourceName> -> Instances -> Create While breadcrumb is present if we navigate to create-resource page from: Operators -> Installed Operators -> Create Resource Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install Red Hat Quay operator (any operator should work, I installed "Red Hat Quay" just for taking an example). 2. Go to Home > Search. Under resources dropdown select QuayRegistry. Then select "Create QuayRegistry" 3. Go to Administration > CustomResourceDefinitions. Look for QuayRegistry and under Instances select "Create QuayRegistry". Actual results: For both steps 2 & 3, we will land to Yaml Editor (Configure via radio buttons are missing as well) page and no breadcrumb is present on the page. Whereas for Operators > Installed Operators > Create QuayRegistry breadcrumb is present. Expected results: UX can be investigated around this issue and fixed in case it seems a valid concern. Additional info:
Per Megan Hall in UXD, the solution is to remove breadcrumbs from all create operands pages.
Checked on ocp 4.11 cluster with payload 4.11.0-0.nightly-2022-03-27-140854. Steps to verify: 1. Install Red Hat Quay operator. Go to Installed Operators > "Quay Registry", click "Create QuayRegistry" 2. Go to Home > Search. Under resources dropdown select QuayRegistry. Then select "Create QuayRegistry" 3.
