Description of problem: firefox-98.0-2.fc35.x86_64.rpm broke playing any embedded videos for me. Downgrading to firefox-97.0.1-2.fc35.x86_64 immediately remedied this issue. Steps to Reproduce: Open an arbitrary site containing embedded videos (e.g. amazon or youtube)
FYI: This bug seems to be HW-dependent. It only occurs on an AMD Ryzen 5 PRO 4650G, but not on others machines. Makes me think, the cause might be an AMD drm or amdgpu problem. AFAIS, this seems to be or least is related to: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1751363 At least, setting MOZ_DISABLE_RDD_SANDBOX=1 seems to help for me.
Yes, see https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Firefox_Hardware_acceleration#Firefox_98_and_later for details. Moving upstream as we're not going to patch that on Fedora level.
