This happens to me when i try to download on Chrome, in Firefox it just works. I can use the printing dialog on my install. I tested loading an unpackaged extension, and the file chooser opened, i dont know why it just doesnt work on the download action.
Similar problem has been detected: The file picker was launched from within Slack running from the Flathub flatpak. Slack was running inside XWayland. When the file picker showed up, the first thing I did was press the tilde key (~) to try and bring up a location bar. This was fixed for me by updating to the gtk4 build in https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=1941275 and then running `systemctl restart --user xdg-desktop-portal-gnome` So this should probably be closed as a duplicate of https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2068041
