its possible to use sudo dnf system-upgrade download --releasever=36 --allowerasing on laptop but that is not easy to find for beginner.
The `--allowerasing` flag is suggested in the output together with the list of problems, from you description: .. > Feil: > Problem 1: package CuraEngine-lulzbot-1:3.6.21-8.fc34.x86_64 requires libprotobuf.so.25()(64bit), but none of the providers can be installed > - protobuf-3.14.0-7.fc35.x86_64 does not belong to a distupgrade repository > - problem with installed package CuraEngine-lulzbot-1:3.6.21-8.fc34.x86_64 > Problem 2: lilv-0.24.10-4.fc35.i686 has inferior architecture > - lilv-0.24.10-4.fc35.x86_64 does not belong to a distupgrade repository > - problem with installed package lilv-0.24.10-4.fc35.i686 > Problem 3: package libarcus-4.13.1-1.fc36.x86_64 requires libprotobuf.so.30()(64bit), but none of the providers can be installed > - cannot install both protobuf-3.19.4-2.fc36.x86_64 and protobuf-3.14.0-7.fc35.x86_64 > - problem with installed package libarcus-4.13.1-1.fc35.x86_64 > - package libarcus-lulzbot-3.6.21-11.fc34.x86_64 requires libprotobuf.so.25()(64bit), but none of the providers can be installed > - libarcus-4.13.1-1.fc35.x86_64 does not belong to a distupgrade repository > - problem with installed package libarcus-lulzbot-3.6.21-11.fc34.x86_64 > (try to add '--allowerasing' to command line to replace conflicting packages or '--skip-broken' to skip uninstallable packages) I am not sure what else we can do. Regarding the reported problems, it looks like you have installed lilv with i686 architecture but fedora 36 only has x86_64. We can try to move this to the lilv component.
But can you developer try to improve guides and debug option? Ubuntu has ubuntu-bug bugpackages in commando line to make bug in https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu https://help.ubuntu.com/community/ReportingBugs i think ubuntu is more easy to make bug, and find way to solve it. I also need software that make more easy to show what to do before upgrade? its for professinal not for beginner to upgrade much software to the upgrade. Because its hard to get information if i should wait with upgrade or not? I get its works on one laptop so its possible to upgrade but failed on other workstation. I also want to know if redhat enterprice desktop is less buggy than fedora 35\36 on this? Because sudo dnf upgrade missing option to reinstall or check debug packages or broked upgrade? It is Command: check-update Aliases: check-upgrade but not sure of that should help me here?
(In reply to Lars Martin hambro from comment #4) > But can you developer try to improve guides and debug option? > Ubuntu has ubuntu-bug bugpackages in commando line to make bug in > https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu > https://help.ubuntu.com/community/ReportingBugs i think ubuntu is more easy > to make bug, and find way to solve it. Fedora also has a nice documentation, please take a look: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/quick-docs/howto-file-a-bug/ > I also need software that make more easy to show what to do before upgrade? > its for professinal not for beginner to upgrade much software to the > upgrade. Because its hard to get information if i should wait with upgrade > or not? I am not sure I understand what you mean but in general if you want an easier way you can try gnome-software, it shows you when there is a new release (fedora 36 is not released just yet) and allows upgrading in general. > I also want to know if redhat enterprice desktop is less buggy than fedora > 35\36 on this? I think it is less buggy and more stable overall. > Because sudo dnf upgrade missing option to reinstall or check debug packages > or broked upgrade? It is > Command: check-update > Aliases: check-upgrade > but not sure of that should help me here? I am sorry but I don't understand. I can see you have enabled a lot of third party repositories (google-chrome, Opera packages, RPM Fusion..) and you still have some packages that were built for fedora 34 (CuraEngine-lulzbot-1:3.6.21-8.fc34.x86_64) it is quite possible some of this simply cannot be upgraded to the new release because the packages were not built yet for fedora 36. Especially given that fedora 36 is not released yet.

Login screen and KDE\gnome did not works, so i think its most install again good things sound works on R9280x HDMI did not works before in gnome\kde. But only 1 gigabit and 2.5 networkscard works not QSFP and mellonox connectx4.

FEDORA-2022-d66c98ba43 has been submitted as an update to Fedora 36. https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2022-d66c98ba43
FEDORA-2022-d66c98ba43 has been pushed to the Fedora 36 testing repository. Soon you'll be able to install the update with the following command: `sudo dnf upgrade --enablerepo=updates-testing --advisory=FEDORA-2022-d66c98ba43` You can provide feedback for this update here: https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2022-d66c98ba43 See also https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:Updates_Testing for more information on how to test updates.
I get this information on fedora forum: sudo rpm -e --nodeps gnome-shell sudo dnf erase $(package-cleanup --orphans) sudo dnf distrosync --allowerasing --releasever=36 sudo dnf install gnome-shell https://pastebin.com/tCq3C317 So that is important to get correct errormessage and how to fix, i did not think you have more information but i neeed that information when i upgrade why its failed.
I also have removed:CuraEngine-lulzbot lilv libarcus libarcus-lulzbot but still i get isssue. Did not know why. lilv has been fixed recently, it's available in f36 updates-testing repository. I think you messed your system up, deleting packages with rpm -e --nodeps. You ca try with dnf distrosync after lilv is in stable. See bug2052588
FEDORA-2022-d66c98ba43 has been pushed to the Fedora 36 stable repository. If problem still persists, please make note of it in this bug report.
Try booting 'run level 3', see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NKdPv8AaS0I this works to get XFCE running, but KDE and Gnome still failed. So want system to avoid or better information what will failed upgrade to fedora 36 beta. Its hard to normaly user to find issue here. Why did you not add run level 3 if normaly boot failed? or question will you run level 3 failed mode?
