Description of problem: gnome-shell-extension-caffeine package as currently packaged is incompatible with GNOME 42 and thus refuses to run on F36 Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 39-2.fc36 How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install gnome-shell-extension-caffeine 2. Try to enable it - it will show an error and refuse to enable 3. Actual results: No icon in systray Expected results: Icon in systray that prevents screen lock/dim Additional info: The upstream project seems not to have updated to support GNOME 42. There is a fork, espresso, which does support GNOME 42. https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/4135/espresso/. Maybe the caffeine package should be retired, and espresso packaged as its successor?
Gnome 42 support was just pulled in yesterday, so I'll update it, but feel free to package espresso if you're interested.
That's actually great news! I noticed that upstream seems to have some irritation at the forks of caffeine (and espresso in particular). If caffeine stays supported I think we should stick with that. Thanks for the update!

Yeah unfortunately caffeine has been more reactive to gnome releases, rather than proactive. I try to update it as soon as I see the fix come in for the next gnome release.
