Created attachment 1870838 [details] dmesg.txt from step 7 1. Please describe the problem: After system suspend, the network adapter doesn't come up anymore. The RTL8125 appears after some minutes and starts working. The Mediatek WiFi adapter stay down. 2. What is the Version-Release number of the kernel: fedora 5.17.1-200.fc35.x86_64 (from koji / fedora test days) 3. Did it work previously in Fedora? If so, what kernel version did the issue *first* appear? Old kernels are available for download at https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/packageinfo?packageID=8 : The RTL8125 works with all tested 5.16.x versions. The issue appears with all tested 5.17 kernel versions. Tested with the 5.17.0 (rawhide) and 5.17.1 (kernel-vanilla-stable) and now the 5.17.1 from koji. The MediaTek WiFi appears the first time in 5.17 but with sudo modprobe mt7921e sudo sh -c "echo 14c3 0608 > /sys/bus/pci/drivers/mt7921e/new_id" it also work with version 5.16 and came up after suspend. 4. Can you reproduce this issue? If so, please provide the steps to reproduce the issue below: Start the system (all works fine), systemctl suspend -i and wake up, the network adapter doesn't come up for a while. 5. Does this problem occur with the latest Rawhide kernel? To install the Rawhide kernel, run ``sudo dnf install fedora-repos-rawhide`` followed by ``sudo dnf update --enablerepo=rawhide kernel``: yes 6. Are you running any modules that not shipped with directly Fedora's kernel?: no 7. Please attach the kernel logs. You can get the complete kernel log for a boot with ``journalctl --no-hostname -k > dmesg.txt``. If the issue occurred on a previous boot, use the journalctl ``-b`` flag.
Similar thing repported for Fedora 36 in bug #2072785 (Mediatek only)
