It would be nice if we could branch and build python-ujson in EPEL9, especially since the current Rawhide spec file builds without changes. I am happy to request and (partially or wholly) maintain the EPEL9 branch myself as a python-ujson package maintainer (FAS music). However, I’m opening this bug to give an opportunity for input from the current EPEL maintainer / bug assignee and any other maintainers who might care about EPEL. I’d like to wait for https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/python-ujson/pull-request/4, so I’m blocking this on the update to 5.2.0.
