Description of problem: We are using a customer HCI compute configuration and deploying with collectd for STF. Seeing 2 issues. 1) The control nodes running ceph_mon do not get a collectd ceph plugin configured (missing /var/lib/config-data/puppet-generated/collected/etc/collectd.d/10-ceph.yaml) 2) The compute nodes do have a 10-ceph.yaml, but missing any daemon configuration. Each compute with ceph has 6 osd configured but no daemons are setup in the ceph-plugin config. What is the business impact? Please also provide timeframe information. We are unable to monitor ceph performance and usage from STF. When does the behavior occur? Frequency? Repeatedly? At certain times? Configuration missing on every deploy. The model in which we will collect ceph metrics will change in a future release. In the mean-time please make use of ceph-dashboarding to track ceph storage components.
