RHEL Engineering is moving the tracking of its product development work on RHEL 6 through RHEL 9 to Red Hat Jira (issues.redhat.com). If you're a Red Hat customer, please continue to file support cases via the Red Hat customer portal. If you're not, please head to the "RHEL project" in Red Hat Jira and file new tickets here. Individual Bugzilla bugs in the statuses "NEW", "ASSIGNED", and "POST" are being migrated throughout September 2023. Bugs of Red Hat partners with an assigned Engineering Partner Manager (EPM) are migrated in late September as per pre-agreed dates. Bugs against components "kernel", "kernel-rt", and "kpatch" are only migrated if still in "NEW" or "ASSIGNED". If you cannot log in to RH Jira, please consult article #7032570. That failing, please send an e-mail to the RH Jira admins at rh-issues@redhat.com to troubleshoot your issue as a user management inquiry. The email creates a ServiceNow ticket with Red Hat. Individual Bugzilla bugs that are migrated will be moved to status "CLOSED", resolution "MIGRATED", and set with "MigratedToJIRA" in "Keywords". The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "RHEL project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/RHEL-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

Description Oliver Steffen 2022-04-13 08:18:54 UTC
The next stable release of upstream EDK2 is edk2-stable202205,
planned for 2022-05-27. Rebase to that when it becomes available.

Note: This might not be the final version for 9.1-final.

Comment 1 Gerd Hoffmann 2022-05-31 09:42:51 UTC
Fedora update 2022-02 -> 2022-05 done for rawhide.

https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/edk2/commits/rawhide
https://github.com/kraxel/edk2/commits/fedora

non-trivial changes in PcdResizeXterm patch for OvmfPkg (rebase works but build fails without the update).
https://github.com/kraxel/edk2/commit/b969a329b7a7df0f8f25c8497eaa3c0987b69265

smooth automatic git rebase otherwise.

rhel-9 rebase should be quite simliar.

QE bot(pre verify): Set 'Verified:Tested,SanityOnly' as gating/tier1 test pass.

Verify with edk2-aarch64-20220526git16779ede2d36-1.el9.noarch and qemu-kvm-7.0.0-6.el9.aarch64:

From 83 tests executed, 82 passed and 0 warned - success rate of 98.80% (excluding SKIP and CANCEL)
1 test case failed with another product bug 1952378

Comment 14 Xueqiang Wei 2022-06-17 10:30:45 UTC
Tested iscsi boot, pxe boot and https boot, all work well. And based on Comment 12 and Comment 13, set status to VERIFIED. Thanks.
