Created attachment 1872549 [details] Searching for “italian” shows stuff completely unrelated to Italian Fedora-Workstation-Live-x86_64-36-20220216.n.0.iso installed in qemu-kvm gnome-control-center-42.0-3.fc36.x86_64 When searching for input sources in the gnome-control-center keyboard tab, lots of unrelated matches show up. For example, when searching for “italian”, the results contain matches like “German (Belgium)” “Slovak” and lots of other stuff which has nothing to do with Italian. See the attached screenshot. The same happens for almost all other languages as well, Searching for “german” for example shows “Russian (Ukraine)” “Turkish (Cyprus)” ... Only for very few languages like Japanese and Korean it seems to work and shows only matches related to the search.
This problem existed already in Fedora 35.
I can reproduce this in Fedora 37 when selected "Marathi" language and tried to see the only other Marathi language keymaps there. Other language keymaps are appearing.
The problem exists for me as well unchanged in Fedora 37, when I search for “italian” I still get exactly the same nonsensical results as on F36.
Could we report this upstream, please?
