Description of problem:
During the boot, system pauses for long time while executing
/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/init.ipv6-global start pre

It eventually shows message 
/etc/rc5.d/S10network: line 54: 1297 Segmentation fault
/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/init.ipv6-global start pre

This started happening after applying updates on Wednesday 20th 2006.

The same error happens during shutdown of system as well.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Fedora Core Test 3 fully patched (Rawhide), i386

How reproducible:
every time when the system is rebooted
initscripts-8.40-1
Steps to Reproduce:
1. reboot the system

Actual results:
Error message : segmentation fault.

Expected results:
Should be able to start IPV6 normally.

Additional info:
Happens on more than one machine.

This is fixed in 8.41-1 and later.
