Description Chris Murphy 2022-04-22 00:41:25 UTC
Josef reported running into space problems when building and installing the kernel locally using a Fedora Cloud Base image. Most/All of our other images bumped this partition to 1GiB some time ago, but Cloud Base images are still using 500MiB.

The size should be bumped to 1GiB.

Comment 1 Fedora Blocker Bugs Application 2022-04-22 00:43:40 UTC
Proposed as a Freeze Exception for 36-final by Fedora user chrismurphy using the blocker tracking app because:

Since there's a long standing 1Gib /boot partition most everywhere else, it seems safe and ideal to take this as a freeze exception for F36. I don't think the reproducer constitutes a blocker though.

Comment 4 Adam Williamson 2022-05-02 19:17:27 UTC
This should have been in the last several composes, including the RCs - can someone confirm so we can close it? Thanks.

Comment 5 Chris Murphy 2022-05-03 03:26:45 UTC
It was not in RC1.1, I haven't checked RC1.2.

Comment 6 Chris Murphy 2022-05-03 03:38:10 UTC
OK on 1.3 it's correct.
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/vda2 966M 52M 849M 6% /boot

Comment 7 Adam Williamson 2022-05-03 06:09:07 UTC
Good enough! Thanks.
