Description Matthew Gyurgyik 2022-04-23 17:38:10 UTC
Description of problem:

The shared-mime-info package on Fedora 36 has a release string of '3.fc35'.

[root@ink ~]# rpm -q shared-mime-info
shared-mime-info-2.1-3.fc35.x86_64

[root@ink ~]# cat /etc/redhat-release
Fedora release 36 (Thirty Six)

Package on the mirror server:
http://mirror.rit.edu/fedora/fedora/linux/development/36/Server/x86_64/os/Packages/s/shared-mime-info-2.1-3.fc35.x86_64.rpm

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
2.1-3.fc35

Expected results:
Package should use fc36 in the release string.

Additional info:

Used the DNF system upgrade plugin to update from Fedora Server 35 to Fedora Server 36. After the upgrade I ran `rpm -qa | grep fc35` and noticed shared-mime-info was listed.
