When do you think you'll be able to get to this update?
Short answer: When another one of our packages starts to depend on it, at the earliest. Updating libraries to incompatible versions proactively doesn't make sense - it would only result in a compat package for 0.17 that's still used by everything and an updated package for 0.19 that's used by nothing.
Makes sense. I'm attempting to build some packages where I need newer versions which is how I came across this BZ. Can you update it for that reason?
