Note: In the step 2, you need delete input metrics by keyboard. Another similar bug situation: Sometimes you manually delete the metrics via the keyboard, the search box seems to keep the first letter. In my case, I typed `rate` then delete them via keyboard. Click drop box and select `ALERTS`,then search box displayed as `ALERTSr` The UX issues were solved in https://github.com/openshift/console/pull/11143 test process: 1.# launch openshift/console#11143 2.Open admin console, navigate to Observe->Metrics 3.Input `ALERTS` then delete them via keyboard 4.click drop box and select `ALERTS_FOR_STATE`, press Enter `ALERTS_FOR_STATE` displayed in the search box as expected 5.Input `cluster` to the search box the related metric suggestions and descriptions are automatically displayed these suggestions can be selected using the keyboard arrows + enter 6.Input `rate(http_requests_total)` to the search box There will be a prompt when you enter the wrong content, and it will be highlighted in red Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a resolution of ERRATA.
