I'd like to request EPEL8 builds of python-bitmath.
I would also like it very much if bitmath could be added to EPEL8. Anything we can do to help with this?
Hi folks, I'm working on bitmath-2.0.0 right now! [0] The 2.0 version will be a "breaking changes" version, dropping all support for any python not listed as officially supported (in particular, 2.x). I expect to have it ready in the next few weeks. Will post another update here as things move forward. [0] https://github.com/tbielawa/bitmath/tree/2023-01-26-no-more-py2
This package has changed maintainer in Fedora. Reassigning to the new maintainer of this component.
2.0 is still a bit away - do you still need this for EPEL8?
Yes, it would be great if it can be added to EPEL8/9/10. The current version 1.3.1 would already be amazing.
I'd still like this for EPEL8 and it's fine if it's latest 1.x release.
