Description Michel Lind 2022-05-14 02:46:31 UTC
Please branch and build brightnessctl in epel8.

If you do not wish to maintain brightnessctl in epel8,
or do not think you will be able to do this in a timely manner,
the EPEL Packagers SIG would be happy to be a co-maintainer of the package;
please add the epel-packagers-sig group through
https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/brightnessctl/addgroup
and grant it commit access, or collaborator access on epel* branches.

I would also be happy to be a co-maintainer (FAS: salimma), and can be the primary contact for EPEL.

This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora Linux 37 development cycle.
Changing version to 37.

Comment 2 Fedora Admin user for bugzilla script actions 2023-01-06 12:07:01 UTC
This package has changed maintainer in Fedora. Reassigning to the new maintainer of this component.

Comment 3 Peter Georg 2023-01-10 08:28:52 UTC
I've just recently been notified about this issue. I can take it as I maintain brightnessctl for epel9 anyway.
