I think I made the ppc dir by mistake. We don't have the diskspace to mirror the ppc updates that are already being mirrored by the Fedora / Red Hat mirroring system. We haven't in the past produced ppc updates, and still aren't to the point where we can yet (thats coming soon), so the best solution is to not disable the existing Updates repo that has ppc content.
Fedora Core 4 is now completely unmaintained. These bugs can't be fixed in that version. If the issue still persists in current Fedora Core, please reopen. Thank you, and sorry about this.
