Description Yaacov Zamir 2022-05-18 10:37:36 UTC
Description of problem:
Message when editing template boot source is wrong

when editing boot source for a template the message read:
''This data can be found in Storage > Persistent volume claims > ... under the kubevirt-os-images project'

'''
but this is wrong, the message should indicate that we are editing the data source for this template, and after this edit, any other template that use this data source will will use the new boot source.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to templates list
2. Find a template that use data source, but is not automated
3. choose Edit boot source from the template actions kebab

Actual results:
message saying we editing a PVC

Expected results:
message saying we editing the data source, and it will affect all templates using this datasource (maybe show a popup with templates that use this source ?)
the message should be a warning or an info

Additional info:

Comment 1 Guohua Ouyang 2022-05-30 06:25:22 UTC
verified on v4.11.0-35, the message is "Editing the DataSource will affect all templates that are currently using this DataSource."
