Note: This bug is displayed in read-only format because the product is no longer active in Red Hat Bugzilla.
Red Hat Satellite engineering is moving the tracking of its product development work on Satellite to Red Hat Jira (issues.redhat.com). If you're a Red Hat customer, please continue to file support cases via the Red Hat customer portal. If you're not, please head to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira and file new tickets here. Individual Bugzilla bugs will be migrated starting at the end of May. If you cannot log in to RH Jira, please consult article #7032570. That failing, please send an e-mail to the RH Jira admins at rh-issues@redhat.com to troubleshoot your issue as a user management inquiry. The email creates a ServiceNow ticket with Red Hat. Individual Bugzilla bugs that are migrated will be moved to status "CLOSED", resolution "MIGRATED", and set with "MigratedToJIRA" in "Keywords". The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/SAT-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

This affects Satellite 6.11 as well.

Comment 6 Adam Lazik 2022-09-23 08:33:34 UTC
Hello!
As there are no links anymore in neither
Admenistering Satellite 6.10 section: https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_satellite/6.10/html-single/administering_red_hat_satellite/index#sect-Administering-Configuring_External_Authentication-External_Authentication_for_Provisioned_Hosts
nor
Administering Satellite 6.11 section: https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_satellite/6.11/html-single/administering_red_hat_satellite/index#External_Authentication_for_Provisioned_Hosts_admin;
I have to assume that the link was removed by the time this ticket got to me. I am therefore closing this ticket.

Comment 11 Adam Lazik 2022-10-03 13:57:52 UTC
Hello!
After discussion with @mdolezel, I am changing the component of this BZ to branding, since changing the link in the Satellite Web UI cannot be accomplished from the documentation repository.
What needs to be done:
In the Satellite web UI, when navigating to Infrastructure > Realms, there is a link called "documentation" which contains the following:
In Satellite 6.10: https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_satellite/6.10/html/administering_red_hat_satellite/chap-red_hat_satellite-administering_red_hat_satellite-configuring_external_authentication#sect-Red_Hat_Satellite-Administering_Red_Hat_Satellite-Configuring_External_Authentication-External_Authentication_for_Provisioned_Hosts
In Satellite 6.11: https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_satellite/6.11/html/administering_red_hat_satellite/chap-red_hat_satellite-administering_red_hat_satellite-configuring_external_authentication#sect-Red_Hat_Satellite-Administering_Red_Hat_Satellite-Configuring_External_Authentication-External_Authentication_for_Provisioned_Hosts
These links need to be changed to the following:
In Satellite 6.10: https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_satellite/6.10/html/administering_red_hat_satellite/chap-administering-configuring_external_authentication#sect-Administering-Configuring_External_Authentication-External_Authentication_for_Provisioned_Hosts
In Satellite 6.11: https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_satellite/6.11/html-single/administering_red_hat_satellite/index#External_Authentication_for_Provisioned_Hosts_admin

Comment 14 Evgeni Golov 2023-03-03 11:41:59 UTC
rubygem-foreman_theme_satellite-11.0.0.5-1.el8sat.noarch

the link now goes to https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_satellite/6.13/html/installing_satellite_server_in_a_connected_network_environment/configuring_external_authentication_satellite#External_Authentication_for_Provisioned_Hosts_satellite and works if you replace 6.13 with 6.12 (as there are no published 6.13 docs yet)
