@efried There is no provision pod created and there are errors in hive-controller log. Could you help to take a look? level=error msg="Reconciler error" _name=remotemachineset-controller error="cannot decode VSphereMachineProviderSpec from master machine: could not decode VSphere ProviderSpec: no kind \"VSphereMachineProviderSpec\" is registered for version \"vsphereprovider.openshift.io/v1beta1\" in scheme \"pkg/runtime/scheme.go:100\"" name=460-ocp-b23-worker namespace=460-ocp-b23
This is a known issue [1] that was fixed and backported to 2.5. Do you want it backported to 2.4? Andrew, who did the original fix, will take it from here... [1] https://issues.redhat.com//browse/HIVE-1858
I've opened a backport for 2.4 https://github.com/openshift/hive/pull/1778
Thank you @efried @abutcher Could you also help build an hive operator image for 2.4 branch?
Published quay.io/openshift-hive/hive:v2.4.3227-74831db with operator bundles pushed to K8s and RH.
Verified on v2.4.6 (2.2.13 --> 2.3.12 --> 2.4.6) OCP 4.10.32 acm-custom-registry:2.4.6-DOWNSTREAM-2022-09-12-21-17-47
