Please build psutils for EPEL9, thanks!
Paper is not built for EPEL9, which blocks this bug. At the same time, we are waiting for libpaper update to v1.2.0, which is a new dependency for psutils 2.08. Sadly, libpaper isn't built for EPEL9 either.
libpaper is part of RHEL9 and so is available at version 1.1.28. psutils 2.07 builds fine now in EPEL9: https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=96144627 If you do not wish to maintain psutils in epel9, or do not think you will be able to do this in a timely manner, the EPEL Packagers SIG would be happy to be a co-maintainer of the package; please add the epel-packagers-sig group through https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/psutils/addgroup and grant it commit access, or collaborator access on epel* branches. I would also be happy to be a co-maintainer (FAS: orion).
I've added the epel-packagers-sig group, as I do not want to maintain the epel branches. Do you want to be added as a co-maintainer?
epel-packagers-sig is fine. Thanks.
