Description Orion Poplawski 2022-05-31 19:38:28 UTC
Please build psutils for EPEL9, thanks!

Comment 1 Ondřej Pohořelský 2022-06-09 08:05:46 UTC
Paper is not built for EPEL9, which blocks this bug. At the same time, we are waiting for libpaper update to v1.2.0, which is a new dependency for psutils 2.08. Sadly, libpaper isn't built for EPEL9 either.

Comment 2 Orion Poplawski 2023-01-15 03:48:37 UTC
libpaper is part of RHEL9 and so is available at version 1.1.28. psutils 2.07 builds fine now in EPEL9: https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=96144627

If you do not wish to maintain psutils in epel9,
or do not think you will be able to do this in a timely manner,
the EPEL Packagers SIG would be happy to be a co-maintainer of the package;
please add the epel-packagers-sig group through
https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/psutils/addgroup
and grant it commit access, or collaborator access on epel* branches.

I would also be happy to be a co-maintainer (FAS: orion).

Comment 3 Ondřej Pohořelský 2023-01-17 08:21:32 UTC
I've added the epel-packagers-sig group, as I do not want to maintain the epel branches.
Do you want to be added as a co-maintainer?

Comment 4 Orion Poplawski 2023-01-22 19:05:22 UTC
epel-packagers-sig is fine.  Thanks.
