Sorry about the unclear description, the deprecated indication should based on the template's annotation, not the label. annotations: "template.kubevirt.io/deprecated: "true" Tested on OCP-v4.11.0-47, the deprecated label is not added to template if add "template.kubevirt.io/deprecated: "true" to template annotation
