Description of problem: In virtualization overview "running vm per templates" template list can be improved a - vms without a template, show as "" empty string b - we can add "sort" and "filter" to show templates by A-Z order, or show templates by OS or Workload Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to virtualization overview 2. Have a running VM that does not have a template label. 3. Actual results: The "running vm per templates" show this VM as having "" template Look for a way to show distribution of vms by OS Expected results: The "running vm per templates" show this VM as having ?"Not available"? template Have a way to show distribution of vms by OS or workload (not just template name) Additional info:
I addressed the incorrect labeling of VMs without the kubevirt template label in https://github.com/openshift/console/pull/11651. The filter/show distribution of VMs by OS or workload issue is out of the scope of a bug, in my opinion. That request should be opened as an RFE. If accepted, the card will likely need to be renamed or a different card created as the current card provides the data indicated by the title.
move the bug to verified as it cannot be verified on 4.11, so it won't block https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2094348 '
