Will you be able to branch and build pure-ftpd in epel9?

we also need pure-ftpd , please branch and build pure-ftpd in epe9, thank you.

Have you considered using vsftpd instead? It's provided directly by RHEL.

Thanks for your advise, since some software (e.g. ISPConfig) only supports pure-ftpd, so we still need it. If there is no EPEL, then we would may install by source, thank you.

The virtual user support in vsftpd is both harder to configure and less functional.

Will you be able to branch and build pure-ftpd in epel9?
I would be happy to be a co-maintainer if you do not wish
to build it on epel9 (FAS: jonathanspw).

Thank you!  Do you have strong feelings one way or the other on https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=502754 ?

If not, or if you support removing this functionality completely I'll do this for rawhide/EPEL9.
