Description Chris Adams 2022-06-09 20:09:26 UTC
Please branch and build pypolicyd-spf in epel9.

I also see BZ 1801011 about changing upstream to spf-engine - maybe good time to switch to the maintained version?

I'm building 2.0.2 for EPEL9 now. To rename, the package will have to go through a review process:

https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/package-maintainers/Package_Renaming_Process/

That's next, I guess. But, it will take some time.

Comment 6 Bojan Smojver 2022-07-25 21:23:09 UTC
In the end, decided against renaming the package and created an initial build for F37: https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2022-ef4dd75b46

There is some new stuff in there, so F37 users will eventually tell us what's what here.
