Red Hat Bugzilla 2097822 1 unspecified CLOSED [RFE:EPEL9] EPEL9 branch for git-review 2022-07-08 01:44:14 UTC

Description Luigi Toscano 2022-06-13 08:47:57 UTC
Description of problem:

The branch is missing and the package could be most likely compiled for that branch.

Comment 1 Alan Pevec 2022-06-13 08:50:18 UTC
Branch requested, list of deps to follow:
https://pagure.io/releng/fedora-scm-requests/issue/44920

Comment 2 Joel Capitao 2022-06-16 09:44:41 UTC
I also requested epel9 branches for remaining deps
https://pagure.io/releng/fedora-scm-requests/issue/45039 - pymod2pkg
https://pagure.io/releng/fedora-scm-requests/issue/45040 - distroinfo
https://pagure.io/releng/fedora-scm-requests/issue/45041 - git-review

I mockbuild rdopkg against EPEL9 locally successfully, I'll build them once the branches created.

Should it be proposed for EPEL stable?

Comment 6 Joel Capitao 2022-07-13 14:32:07 UTC
Hmm I thought the boddhi promotion was automatic, maybe a missing connector..
I requested it manually https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-EPEL-2022-de987a24f5

Shouldn't that bodhi update include the python-distroinfo and python-pymod2pkg too? I think they are not in EPEL as well.

git-review was pushed to stable a few days ago: https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-EPEL-2022-18dceb1bba

I guess this can be closed?
