They actually meant openCOLLADA, not collada-dom. The title was correct, but it was first filed against collada-dom.
I don't do much EPEL packaging these days. Are you interested in maintaining the package?
This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora Linux 37 development cycle. Changing version to 37.
