I have ready a biber-2.18 (bug #2100151) which bumps a bcfversion to 3.9. That will break texlive-biblatex-9:svn61868-55.fc37 unless you update biblatex to 3.18. It's already available on GitHub <https://github.com/plk/biblatex/tags>. Not yet on CTAN. I will hold on building biber-2.18 until you manage to upgrade texlive-biblatex. When doing so, please don't forget to change the "Requires: bcfversion" dependency to "= 3.9". If you want to provide a seamless upgrade to our users, I recommend building both texlive and biber in a Koji side-tag. Once you build texlive, tell me and I will build biber.
Would this imply updating to TexLive 2022 completely or should that be a separate ticket? Cause currently we would like that due to the newer siunitx version
I believe updating biblatex without the rest of TexLive is enough. If you want a newer siunitx, then file a separate ticket. By the way, biblatex-3.18 is on CTAN now.
This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora Linux 37 development cycle. Changing version to 37.
I will try do the update in f38-build-side-58332 side tag.
