After selecting skip for cd checks the install fails on starting X. It starts X which is succesful then fails about 5 seconds later 3. Generates X log file in /tmp/ramfs/X.log. But can't copy as no network connection Actual results: Expected results: Should carry on with install in graphical mode Additional info:
Can you start X once the system has been installed? In either case, please provide the Xorg.0.log file. Also is it possible to get the anaconda X.log off the system in another way? Using a usb flash disk maybe?

We will need the /tmp/ramfs/X.log from the failed X run to work this issue. You can start dhclient from the installer if you need network access to get this file.
Without the X log from the affected configuration, we do not have sufficient information to work on this issue. If this is still an issue for you in a released version of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5, please attach the relevant X log, and reopen this bug.
