Description of problem: As of writing, lightdm on EPEL 8 and 9 is only available for the architectures x86_64 and ppc64le. I guess this results from some Red Hat quirks in the beginning of RHEL 8, where packages were not equal on all architectures: https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/lightdm/blob/epel9/f/lightdm.spec#_16 However, currently this does no longer seem to apply, because: - EPEL 9: https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=89323339 - EPEL 8: https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=89323342 Thus this limitation could be removed from my point of view. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): lightdm-1.30.0-16.el9 lightdm-1.30.0-6.el8 Actual results: lightdm on EPEL 8 and 9 only on x86_64 and ppc64le architectures Expected results: lightdm on EPEL 8 and 9 on all architectures (not only x86_64 and ppc64le)
