As we discussed in the meeting, this seems to be designed for use as an app using the `pydeps` command rather than as a python module, so it does not need to be prefixed by python-. So, we can keep the name and just update it to the latest release for now. If there's clear indication that it's also meant to be used as a python module, we can rename it later.

Changing to assigned since the PR is good to go (reviewed and commented there).
