+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #2110281 +++ Description of problem: In OKD/FCOS, there is no reason from a supportability standpoint to enforce an allowlist for kernel arguments that the MCD can tune. Currently, its existence is actually rather a hindrance, as in OKD this API is used to set kargs during cluster bootstrapping via manifests, the flexibility of which is therefore limited. Solution: Drop the allowlist when running on FCOS Version-Release number of MCO (Machine Config Operator) (if applicable): 4.12 Platform (AWS, VSphere, Metal, etc.): n/a Are you certain that the root cause of the issue being reported is the MCO (Machine Config Operator)? (Y/N/Not sure): Y
